Quoted from Kellymom,
When do babies have growth spurts?
Common times for growth spurts are during the first few days at home and around 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less). Babies don’t read calendars, however, so your baby may do things differently.
Cayleb has arrived at the growth spurt juncture, the 2-3 hours feeding has increased exponentially to 45mins-1 hr feeding. Previous week has been rather a breeze, as he tend to sleep more before each feed. This week immunity challenge came tough, as he wake up periodically at various timeslots without a pattern. Each feed took longer and longer,as he drank a lot more than previous weeks
With the frequent feeding, the meaty cheeks start to evolve unfolding the next level of cuteness . He has taken to his feeding naturally at this juncture, unlike the earlier latching difficulty. Growing up seem to take on a repetitive routine, feeding sleeping pooping with a added flavor of the occasional crys. Week 3 of Cayleb is less of a stranger to us now, as we took to his habits, and certain behavioral traits tend to appear now, being adaptive as parents seem to take on significantly now. His full month is nearing now..
